We are setting up a new entity within Mi5, focused on radically re-imaging how we detect and disrupt threat. We are comprised of outstanding technology and operational talent from across the intelligence defence, and security community, applying advanced computer and data science to solve some of our most urgent national security challenges. We are currently a small team taking a ‘start-up’-style approach to innovate at pace: using lean start-up and agile methodologies, working in multi-disciplinary teams to create user-centred products, promoting a non-hierarchical culture.
