Engineering Manager

We are now looking to add an Engineering Manager to #TeamGreen based in the UK. This role can be based out of our Manchester HQ or sit remotely across the UK and Ireland. Matillion Engineering Managers own accountability for a significant development initiative. They are responsible for the curation and development of a number of cross-skilled, multi-discipline squads with no fewer than 10 direct reports. The Engineering Manager has an extensive software development background but has responsibility for the smooth running of a team and focuses on the coaching and development of its individual members through resonant 121s, QDDs and the Matillion Performance Management process. This is a people-first role and whilst the overall success of a given initiative lies with this role, it will be achieved through the management of people and not hands-on execution. The Engineering Manager for Connectors is responsible for the ongoing delivery of Matillion Connector Framework and the Matillion CDATA implementation. They will work with a Director of Engineering and a Product Manager to identify a long-term connectors strategy and curate a suitable engineering team.
