eCommerce Platform Senior DevOps Engineer, Deloitte Ventures, Tax

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate professional with experience building and managing cloud-based applications. As well as deploying and maintaining new platforms and services, a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer will be expected to lead the way for the wider team by learning and helping implement new technologies and processes such advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, dark launch) and new toolkits. This role will implement and support cloud solutions on MS Azure and processes leveraged by a large number of applications hosted in our environment and manage a small team of DevOps engineers. The role will also involve building and managing a multi-tenanted Kubernetes hosted platform (KaaS). You will work with development teams to help increase automation and streamline build & deployment processes, apply best practices & principles. Additionally, you will also implement and maintain additional tooling and contribute to our deployment objectives. This role will engage with wider Deloitte Cloud and Security teams to ensure compliance and alignment with firm policy and assess impact of future strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Manage cloud solutions - Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and services - Managing Kubernetes environments using declarative strategies including kubectl, Kustomize, Helm and GitOps - Implement and stay abreast of industry best practices and tooling - Architect, develop, deploy, and evolve CI and CD systems in multiple environments (DEV,QA,STG,CANARY,PROD) - Review code and coach the team members where necessary - Managing a small team of DevOps engineers
