Frontend Developer

You’ll play an important part in delivering the product and technology roadmap, and ensuring optimum technical approaches are chosen. This will mean writing, reviewing and contributing to the codebase, taking ideas from requirements to production code, and being responsible for quality at every step along the way, whether it’s testability, UX or architecture. We are looking for someone with a passion for frontend technologies including commercial experience using Angular (4+ or JS), TypeScript, and previous experience of bringing user-centred product design into production. You’ll have knowledge of current and emerging front end technologies, in particular single page applications, gained as a frontend (or full stack) developer, ideally on a customer facing product. The role will involve working with RESTful APIs and ideally you have contributed to the design of new APIs. You’ll be able to demonstrate how you can build great user experiences, favouring simple and easy-to-use UIs, and take a mobile-centric approach that stretches beyond responsive design to concerns such as performance and scale-ability. We are a diverse group, so you’ll have experience working with developers of all skill levels, using code reviews, pair programming and other techniques to improve the team as a whole.
